The Village of Pleasant Prairie was in the process of creating a civic campus to reflect their growing community. The first phase included the construction of a new 17,600 sq. ft. fire station.
Read morePRA designed a new, top-of-the-line station featuring four apparatus bays, interior, and exterior ladder and confined space training areas, eight sleeping quarters, EMS support spaces, and a 550 sq. ft. conference room for meetings. The new facility was designed for faster turnout times, improved amenities and accommodations for firefighters and to be the featured piece of the Village’s new campus.
The alcove connects Turnout Gear storage room with the apparatus bay, and incorporates a variety of training opportunities for first responders.
