For over 20 years, we have worked with the Hamilton School District and helped design millions of dollars’ worth of projects without referenda. At the high school we designed a new fine arts center, gym, school store, restrooms, offices, and library renovation. We just completed a classroom addition that includes a new community room for board meetings and community presentations. More recently, we designed a new intermediate school for the growing district.

The new Silver Spring Intermediate School is a 2-story 183,000 sq. ft. building that can accommodate 800 students with the potential to expand capacity to 1,000. At its core, the building is designed as a collaborated learning environment, with academic pod catering to the educational needs of the students as well as staff. In addition, a variety of breakout spaces were integrated throughout the building including the duality of the student commons, open spaces for group work, and student support spaces. Supervision and safety were also considered throughout the building, as visualization was optimized with windows from classrooms to breakout spaces and beyond. Overall, the intermediate school consists of 8 color-coded academic pods with adjacent breakout spaces, 2D, 3D, and engineering labs, an IMC room, a gymnasium, music suite, family and consumer education rooms, pupil services space, and administration offices.

At the high school, we renovated various parts of the building, but we also designed a 42,500 sq. ft. indoor practice facility, which is the largest of its kind in the state of Wisconsin. The building features a half-sized football field equipped with goal posts and Astroturf and a state-of-the-art weight and strength training room. It is available to all students and staff and is used year round for both athletic and academic programs
